Tucker...
Update:

Just thought I’d pass along these photos as well. These are taken in my
front courtyard area. The black dog is Tucker’s “brother”, Tanner. We
adopted him from the Corona Animal Shelter 5 ½ years ago when he was just 10
weeks old. As you can see from the picture of Tucker, he has figured out
how to open the big, heavy wrought iron gate so we have to make sure it’s
really latched so he doesn’t take off on an adventure.
Enjoy!

These pictures (above) were taken when Tucker went on vacation to Monterrey.
He liked the bed in the hotel room (which was a dog friendly place) but he
especially liked climbing on the rocks at the beach. I have some other
really cute ones of him that I'll try to send you tomorrow. I'll bring
Tucker by for a visit one of these weekends! I'd love for you to see him
again.
It has been
almost 2 years now and many veterinary visits later, but the dog we
adopted from your organization who was formerly known as Stitch (and is
now Tucker) is healthy, happy and thriving. We adopted Tucker from the
PetCo in Anaheim Hills. He is a mix of St. Bernard and Golden
Retriever.
I brought him to the vet today for his shots. He weighed in at 78
lbs, which is 15 lbs more than he was when we first brought him home.
He is so strong and beautiful now. He has gotten to go on vacation
to Monterrey where he frolicked in the ocean and chased squirrels.
He loves his trips to the mountains, dog parks and the dog beach in
Huntington Beach. He also loves his daily walks! Tucker is
such a wonderful dog, it’s hard to believe he almost didn’t make it to
enjoy his life as he does. He still has certain fears that we
continue to help him through, but he now trusts our family completely
and is so loyal to each of us.
I have such a soft spot for animals and I just wanted to take a
minute to write to you and thank you all for what you do. Your caring
ways have allowed my family the satisfaction, fulfillment and joy of
having Tucker in our home. (Tucker joins Tanner, our other rescue dog
that we have had for 5 years).
