Tina (AKA) Krystal...

Hi Cindy,

This is Debbie, answering for John, as he doesn't have e-mail.

John wants you to know that he is taking really good care of Krystal/Tina, and is really happy that she has come to live with him. He hopes that you don't miss her too much. He knows that it must have been really hard to let her go, in the short time that he has had her, she has captured his heart. He thanks you for taking such good care of her while you had her.

Crystal's new name is Tina. It is the name of an old girlfriend of John's, he always names his dogs Tina, it is a kind of remembrance. His dogs are always females, by the way! He doesn't like to think of new names, his cats are always Mike if it is a boy, or Mickey if it is a girl ... the current Mikey is still a little afraid of this new Tina, but we think she will get over it soon. Nothing to do with Tina, she is just interested in her little cat house-mate!

I can tell you that Krystal/Tina has settled in very well. John loves her, and is really happy, he wants everybody to get to know her, so that they can see how sweet she is. I think she has become attached to John, too, the other day I was holding Tina's leash by our back steps while John went to get a video camera so his mom and sister can see her. She was very happy to get attention from my husband and I, but after a bit, she noticed John was gone, and led me to his door, to look for him and was really glad when he reappeared.

Anyways, Krystal/Tina is a wonderful dog, and she has brought a lot of joy into John's life. We enjoy knowing her, too, and are always available to help care for her if John needs any help.

Thank you for e-mailing, we are glad to hear from you! You must be a very special person, to care for animals like you do. Thank you for all you did for Krystal, and all the other animals you help.
