By the way, just to give you an update on Phoenix (aka Diana) - she is now officially registered with the AKC.  We obtained an ILP # for her.  She earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) a couple weeks ago. The evaluators were very impressed with her.  They complimented her throughout the whole test.  She is doing awesome in obedience.  She is excelling in everything we enter her in.  We just love her to death.  Not only is she extremely athletic and smart, she is very loving.  We were blessed to find her!

 

We took them all up to Beaumont today to let them have a play day. Here are some pics from today and from sheepherding a few weeks back.

 

We wanted to give you an update on Phoenix and tell you how proud we are of her. She just earned her AKC Rally Novice title. Now when her name is listed in the AKC listings it is Phoenix Ganz Wild, RN, CGC. "Ganz Wild" means "completely wild" in German. We love it! We would also like to announce that she is the Southern California Top Dog team competing for the NABOC team. Top Dog is where all the top obedience dogs in Southern California compete against each other, and whoever wins Top Dog moves on to compete against other Top dogs in the nation. We've attached a few photos of Phoenix competing in Rally. This was her first competition and she got fourth place out of 15 dogs. The next competition she got 2nd place. Unfortunately she didn't get a high enough score to place in the top four on her third leg, because Patty failed to take her potty before she went in the ring. Shame on her!!! But, she did qualify and earned her RN (Rally Novice) title. Included are some pictures of Phoenix & Patty at the AKC trial to show how successful a rescue dog can be. They are just as capable if not better than your high dollar pedigree dogs that people spend a lot of money on. Our point, give a rescue a chance. They are wonderful companions, and so grateful to be loved.

 

P.S. The only problem we've run across is nobody compliments Ezra anymore - it's all about how beautiful Phoenix is (hehehe).  That's okay Ezra's an expensive high dollar spoiled rotten brat and he deserves what he gets. LOL!
