Peaches is doing very well. She
hasn't destroyed anything (thanks to lots of toys and chewies.)
She now has FULL command of the doggie door and comes and goes
at will. She is doing very well with house training and has
only had one accident this past week. It was on the tile, so
clean-up was very easy.
She's not nibbling on fingers as
much (ouch!) since I introduced her to the squirt bottle. She
just has to see it and all nibbling stops. (That only took one
day.)
Hats off to her foster mom,
Victoria, who raised a beautiful, healthy, well adjusted puppy.
She's a peach! Literally!
We are having so much fun with
her. I shot this photo last night. She usually goes into her
crate for bed, but she just crashed and burned in front of the
TV. She had fallen asleep in the midst of her toys and then I
arranged them around her for this shot. Afterwards, I put her
in her crate and moved it into the bedroom where she slept until
7:00 this morning. I heard her stir and she munched on a
chewy
for 30 minutes until she wanted out.
She's so darn cute, I just want to
gobble her up. Scooter is doing very well with her and they
play with each other constantly. Scooter had to enforce some
rules about nipping. They both let me take food away from them
and neither is food aggressive. This week, we are working on
"stay." "Sit" and "Come" are slam dunks!
Love, Lauren
