Parker...
Hi Zara's List... Sorry it’s taken so long for me to get this to you, but I just wanted to let you know that Parker (formerly Lucas) is doing great. In fact, two days after we got him everyone at the dog park was amazed at how well adjusted he was. He is a complete sweetheart and has fit perfectly into our family. We feel very lucky to have found such a smart (even the dog trainer said so!), sweet dog and look forward to spending many, many years together with him. As you can see from the pictures, he’s gained some weight since coming home with us (he absolutely love treats, but is very good about sitting calmly waiting for them). He loves to cuddle up on the couch and even lets me style his hair! Thanks again for everything. Dana & Tenlay

Just wanted to send you a few more pictures of Parker (formerly Lucas).
He's an amazing dog and we are so thankful that you rescued him and let
us adopt him.
Since the last time I wrote he has learned many new tricks and now knows
how to roll-over, speak, wave, shake, play dead, etc as well as a bunch
of obedience commands. He was the star of puppy kindergarten and even
graduated with honors! Everyone is amazed when he runs through his
routine and he loves the attention (and treats, of course). Whenever
someone comments on how cute he is or asks what kind of dog he is I
always make sure to mention that he's a rescue - I definitely think he's
a doing his part to make a good name for rescue dogs everywhere.
Thanks again for saving our Parker from the pound - we can't imagine our
lives without him!
