Mr. Henry is doing very well.  We adore him and spoil him.  David took a couple of days off from work to get acquainted and settle him in and then Henry has come to work with me everyday since then.  Today is the first day he is home.  We installed a doggie door and extended our wall a few feet up to make sure nobody could get in and he couldn't get out.  I miss him today, I got quite used to having him here and everyone at my work really likes him.  I believe he becomes more our perfect dog every day.  I know we love him more every day.  Everything about him is just right for us.

Update from Slims foster mom:

 

I went to visit Mr. Henry at his new home and am happy to say that the match was just as I had thought it would be, perfect! Mr. Henry's new mom and dad adore him as he does them. He is a hit with the rest of his new family as well. When their daughter came to visit, Mr. Henry slept with her in the guest room and since she has left, mom had to move his bed in there. It seems he is awaiting her return. He is a loving boy, playful, and very happy. Since going to his new home he has put on a few more pounds and is at a great weight. I am excited to share this fosters happy ending with you all. He has come a long way in a short time and even better....he hasn't had one accident in the house! Way to go Henry! Thanks to Debra and David for finding a place in their heart for our boy Slim Pickens (MR HENRY).
