Mom came into the rescue with 12 puppies who
were only a day old. About 9 days later, Mom stopped nursing and
Foster Mom had to step in and take over. For over 3 weeks, Victoria,
family and friends bottle fed 12 puppies. They all survived. That in
and of itself is a miracle. How Victoria ever survived is still a
miracle to us today as she was the one person who bottle fed every
single time. Sometimes she had help but at 3am she was up by herself
taking care of them.
Now, the pups have all gone to their homes and Alexia is from that
litter that are alive because of the dedication of one woman.

Hi Victoria,
They are looking more like dogs and less like puppies although they
are all puppy!!! We have fallen so in love them too. They bring us
lots of joy and love. When I have had a rough day at work, the minute
I walk in the house and they greet me… all my troubles go away. I hate
having to leave for work the next day… I would rather stay home and
play with them.
The puppy kindergarten is coming along really well… they are very
intelligent dogs and learn very quickly too.
Today I had our carpets cleaned… everywhere! Rudy and Molly are
learning and getting much better at house training. They are on a
definite schedule of when they need to go outside and we are learning
their schedule. Actually, just last night, they went 6 hours without
any accidents and woke me up to go outside. I was so impressed with
them.
They have ‘killed’ all their toys and today and I bought them new chew
toys that make the funniest noises. Rudy and Molly tilt their heads
when the ‘squeaker’ goes off in their mouth… really funny. We are
trying to teach them about ‘fetch’ with a tennis ball.
How are the other puppies doing? Are you in contact with the other
owners too?
Well… that’s it for now… more news to follow in the next couple of
months.
May you and your family have a warm and wonderful holiday season and
New Year too!

Happy New Year!
I wanted to let you know that both Rudy and Molly have graduated from
advanced dog training and doing just great. They love hiking and
romping in the fields chasing whatever moves! But... they come right
back when called... nice!
Their favorite place to be is any where we are and love to give very
wet kisses all the time. They have been to dog beach in Huntington
Beach and love the waves. They are especially curious of any dog that
is under 5 pounds... they run away from the little things but love the
chase just the same.
Hope you are doing well and taking care of the many other puppies that
need your love and support...
Always,
Shari
