Millee

Thanks for keeping in touch! Millee (I changed the spelling of her name to match our other Springer, Bailee) is doing great. She was a real gem in the car and actually slept most of the way. Has she always had trouble with her legs? She is doing much better with our stairs (we have many of them), and I guess I have attributed her getting around due to all the weight she was carrying. She is scheduled to see our vet, Dr. Roberta, with Bailee on Saturday, March 10th. She was given a bath on Monday and she is lying right next to me now. Bailee and Millee are doing well with the coupler leash I got when in LA. It seems to work well, since Bailee is faster and can hear me, and Millee follows her lead. Unfortunately, we are now getting some weather (yes the dreaded snow), so I am hesitant to take her out for a walk in it for too long. Luckily, however, we went down to get her when we did. I plan on emailing you again and Tera with some updated photos. Millee has also gone with us to visit some local friends who were awaiting her arrival. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised when you see her photos. Hope all is going well for you and your fostering. I bet the little Sheba we saw with you on Sunday was adopted! Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Here are some pictures of Millee. In one of them, you will see a little snow on our deck in the background. Unfortunately, we have since received much more snow. Not to worry though! She is being babied by us! Hope you like these...Talk with you soon!

Just a quick note. Millee is doing great! She is actually SMALLER then our other dog Bailee. Millee was about 62 pounds when we picked her up and now weighs in at a svelte 43. Hope you enjoy the updated pictures. Its hard to believe she has been with us a whole year already, and we are so thankful she is here. Take care and will keep you updated from time to time.
