So you must be on my wave length because I was going to email you this
morning. He is doing great, we have an appointment to see the vet today to
get his 3rd set of puppy shots, and to have my vet meet him. He is getting
along great with Romeo (my 2 year old) they play all the time, I do think
he is a alpha dog because he will challenge Romero all the time, Romero is
great with him and will sometimes let the puppy win the game. We have
renamed him Lucky, because we feel he is, and he likes the name and even
answers to it.
He is exploring the large backyard with Romero's help however we go out
with him because we have a koi pond and I don't want him to "swim with the
fishes" We have never had a dog have a problem with the pond but I like to
be there just incase. We also have a pool but it has a cover on it that
you can walk on and the dogs are not out there when we are swimming.
He has settled in to coming with me to work everyday and everyone here
loves him. He is in my office and I have a bed (it is really the cat bed,
but the cat hates it) so he sleeps under my desk and I can take him for
walks when I can get the leash from my employees.
I think he is very happy and eats well plays well and we are working on
the house training he sees Romero go outside and he wants to be there to
go also.He is very smart and is learning quickly. WE just love him. My
daughter is also learning about puppy teeth. I have given him chew toys
and he lots of stuffed babies to play with. Right this minute he is
sleeping. And we are so happy that he is part of our family.
I hope that his mom has as good a home and is just as happy. Thanks so
much for letting him be part of our family.

Barb here:
Just wanted you to know that Holden/Lucky is doing great and loves his big
brother Romeo, they play together all the time. We have had all his shots
that he needs. And just want to thank you again for the wonderful dog. He
is great. Still working on the potty training. Keep a good thought.

Just thought I would give you an update on Holden (now Lucky).
He is great but a little bit of a terror. He loves his beagle brother and
they spend a good deal of the day outside tearing up as much as they can.
He has gotten so big however after having him groomed, my groomer said
that she thinks he may have Jack Russell in him and I can see that. His
favorite new trick it to push the rolling chair from the dining room over
into the kitchen and jump on the back of the chair and up to the island in
the kitchen to see if there is anything to get into. He is quite a love
though and has finally understood that cuddling is a good thing and loves
to sit on my lap and watch TV, the only problem is his big brother likes
to do that also and my lap is just not big enough. He is a very happy dog
and we love having him in our family. Thank you so much.
