Mom came into the rescue with 12 puppies who
were only a day old. About 9 days later, Mom stopped nursing and
Foster Mom had to step in and take over. For over 3 weeks, Victoria,
family and friends bottle fed 12 puppies. They all survived. That in
and of itself is a miracle. How Victoria ever survived is still a
miracle to us today as she was the one person who bottle fed every
single time. Sometimes she had help but at 3am she was up by herself
taking care of them.
Now, the pups have all gone to their homes and Alexia is from that
litter that are alive because of the dedication of one woman.

Victoria,
"Lil' Lady" is doing great. She is housetrained and learned to do her
business in one spot on the side of the yard. She sits and she shakes
already. She loves to eat anything on the ground and we are working
with her on that. She is simply adorable and very smart. She has
adapted to our family perfectly. We love her so much. The vet said she
did have a small umbilical hernia, but that right now it is very
small.
Hope the other puppies are doing just as good.
You did a great job with her and we thank you for all your dedication.
Bye for now

Hi Victoria,
We were just thinking of you the other day and saying we needed to
send an update. Lil' Lady is doing great. She is so sweet and loving.
She is rather on the small side for her breed mixes. Her only weakness
is that she won't sleep when she is with us. She will want to play all
the time. We need to put her out in her pen for her to get any sleep.
We joke that she has ADD. However, she is soooo easy to train. She
also is very easy to take with us in the car. She also loves dog beach
in Huntington Beach. She caught her first bird the other day and was
so proud to bring it to me. Yuck! The puppy stage has been fun,
exciting, exhausting and frustrating. All in all she is such an
important member of our family. Thank you for saving her and taking
such good care of her until she could come home with us.
I would love to see some pictures of her siblings if you have any. We
checked the Zara's List website and saw a picture of one of her
siblings. It was great to see.
Attached are a few pictures of her.
Thanks for the e-mail. And again, thanks for being our Angel to our
Lil' Lady!!!!
Bye for now,

Lil Lady was one of Abie's pups.
