Hello Julie;

I've attached some pictures that Brandon took with his phone. One was taken of Charlie as Brandon is driving him home from the Vet's office last Wednesday. The other two are of Charlie asleep on the family room couch. I like how he sticks his little tongue out while he sleeps. =)

So far he seems to be adjusting well. He's a little lonesome for his family I'm sure, but he's eating well and going to the bathroom where he is supposed to (on the wee wee pads). We have bought him several toys to play with, including a soft stuffed pig and a turtle. We also got some chew toys for him which he seems to enjoy. We'll definately look into the "kong", it sounds like he'll love it. We haven't really bought him treats as of yet, because we weren't sure if he was old enough to have them. We looked at the natural balance log and Brandon and I like it a lot. We'll probably start buying it soon.

For the last couple nights he's slept with Brandon and myself (the little bed hog). We try not to leave him alone until he's completely adjusted to his new surroundings and his new owners. I'm sure he misses all of you very much, but I'm so very grateful that he had such wonderful foster parents as yourself.

By the way, Brandon and I renamed him Kekoa. I hope that's alright. It means "the brave one" in Hawaiian.

Brandon and I will make sure to keep you updated with Charlie (Kekoa). We'll send you pictures as we take them. Thank you again for all of your help and input with Charlie (Kekoa).
