You may remember him as Dorothy's Pup #1, but we call him Jef. It's been
about a year since we adopted Jef and we can't imagine life without him.
He is very silly and loving- he gives more kisses than any other dog I
know. He has learned a lot in a year- his favorite words are "ball" and
"cookie" and he gives very fine handshakes. Thanks so much for doing
what you guys do.

Hi Tera! It's been a while, just thought I'd send some updated pics of Jef.
He is growing up to be a fine young man! In August, we moved into a house
with a big backyard and he has been in doggy heaven ever since. Our
neighbors have a yorkie named Rocky- with whom Jef is now very best
friends with. They are equally as quirky, so Rocky's mom and I just crack
up watching them play their weirdo games! Jef is really the best dog ever,
so obedient yet so crazily funny. He has 'crazy time' every night when
Kent comes home and Jef proceeds to pull the socks off his feet- and then
hops around with pride at his accomplishment. Which then turns into crazy
chases and skidding across the kitchen floor (both me AND Jef.) When we
take him on walks, we still get people yelling at us from their cars,
'That is the cutest dog I have ever seen!!!!'Kent and I check out your
site practically every day (the nursery especially)...and after Christmas
we hope to make Jef a big brother! I look forward to the possibility of
adopting from you guys again. Thanks so much, if it weren't for you guys,
we wouldn't have such a wonderful member of our family.
