She lived in a home with over 30 dogs when Animal Control was called
in and seized all of the dogs. Most were in pretty horrendous shape,
the living conditions were out of a horror story. From the waste all
over the house to the cramped quarters of the animals, it could have
been a really sad ending. Our rescue was able to take 18 of those
dogs and find them homes. (Check out
Grandpa
Muenster on our Pet List as he's the only one remaining that needs
his forever home!). Ginger found a slice of heaven with a family and
we couldn't be happier. Thank you for giving her a second chance at
life!
Santa got Ginger a soft fur "tube" that she could dig in and
snuggle up in. We've had it in our hamper for the past few
days to get our scent on it a bit. When we gave it to her
it didn't take her long to get in and conk out from the excitement of
opening presents. We took some more pictures of her and if we're
able to download them, I'll definitely pass them on.
Thanks again for making this the BEST Christmas!

Hi there.......
I think in my last e-mail to you I told you we had a beautiful poodle,
Pasha, who my daughter's friend's Dad found in the parking lot of his
office complex in Anaheim last winter. Well....long story short....my
daughter "adopted" this little (11 pounds) poodle and brought her home
here. As much as I tried to resist, I have fallen in love with her. But,
the best part is that she and our Ginger get along famously--play, chase
each other, and "hang out" most of the day with each other.
My daughter has accepted a teaching position in New York beginning in
mid-late January. The plan is to deliver Pasha to her when she gets
settled in an apartment somewhere near her job. We'll see how this plays
out.
I thought I had a few pictures of both Pasha and Ginger together, but
they seem to have been deleted from my mailbox. If I can get them again,
I'll forward them to you.
I have to say again.....we are SO, SO grateful to you for picking us to
adopt Ginger. She has brought us more joy and happiness into our home
than I can describe. She--and Pasha too--has us smiling from one end of
the day to the other. And, my Mom who turns 90 in a few weeks, is
totally enamored with Ginger who considers my Mom her "mother" when Jim
and I are out of the house. She follows Mom around like she had a big
steak around her neck!
I'll be back in touch if I can get the pictures from my
daughter.......Have a joyous Christmas and healthy and safe New Year!
We're so lucky to have Ginger and she and Pacha get along great! Our dog
is the Yorkie.
