Fiona...

Hi!

Fiona is doing great!  We want to change her name, but have yet to come up with something that we both agree on, so we’ve been referring to her as “the little one” and various other nicknames!

We got a little worried the second day we had her, because Madalin (aka Possum) started to go into this horrible depression, and would just go sit in the corner—she had a couple accidents in the house and couldn’t keep any of her food down (she was also on some medication for her ear, that had those potential side-effects).  So, we stopped the medication, because her ear had healed (she kept scratching it raw), and after a couple days her attitude/behavior totally changed, and accepted the puppy.

NOW, they get along great!  They love chasing each other around the house, and the little one is quite the instigator!!  Her teeth have come in a little bit more, so now they play tug-o-war (although, Madalin goes easy on her!) with one of their toys.

She’s a very smart puppy, we taught her “sit” within the first couple days, and now she is really understanding “come.”  “Stay” is the one we need to work on! I have some pics from the first couple days, so I’m attaching a few below.  Just like Titan (I read the update online) her legs really got long after a few days.  She must be about 6 pounds now—I’m taking her in for shots on Friday, so I’ll know an exact weight then.  I’ll take some more pictures, because she is growing so quickly, and send them off to you!
