There's nothing quite like getting an email whose subject line says, "Best Dog In the World" and then better yet, the email address is the "Dashesmom...." You know that's a dog who is loved....

My name is Shelly and I adopted a puppy on 6/19/05 at the Corona Petco. He is a German Shepherd/Lab/Australian Shepherd mix from a mom named Lily. At the time his name was Bear, but we renamed him Dash.

The purpose of my e-mail is to first let you know how much this little guy means to our family. He is the cutest, smartest, friendliest dog you'll ever meet. Not to mention an excellent watch dog. He also helped me as I recovered from a terrible car accident and every member of my family is in love with him.

I just wanted to thank all of you for taking such good care of these animals until a permanent home is found. He will be turning two years old very soon and we can't imagine what life was like before Dash.

We were wondering if you have gotten any feedback from any of the other 6 pups from this litter. I can only hope they are as happy as we are.
