Hi,
A little over four years ago I adopted Corley from you. She was a lab/shapei
mix puppy from a yellow lab named Jazz.
Corley is the light of my life... I just wanted to let you know how very
happy we are. Corley loves living in the forest and she adores snowy
winters. She plays and romps in the snow like crazy.
She is smart as a whip. We feed her inside, twice a day and after eating
she picks up her bowl and brings it to me. She fetches like crazy. When we
eat outside on the deck, if a paper plate or napkin is dropped, well that
is 'trash" in Corley's mind and she picks it up, we go in the house and
she delivers it to me to properly put it in the waste basket. She loves
playing fetch with one of her toys. And even in winter she will romp
through the snow to fetch her favorite red ball. Inside, if it is too
cold, she'll fetch the length of our great room for one of her 'quiet'
soft toys.
Corley, along with myself and my husband and two cats share a king-size
Sleep Number bed. On my side, which is also Corley's side, we have a sleep
number of 35. My husband and the cats prefer a firmer number of 60. Girls
have to stick together, especially when it comes to our side of the bed!
Also, I wanted to let you know about an excellent kennel in Redlands, it
is called Coventry. Because we have bears and coyotes, we never leave
Corley alone when we go out of town, not even for a single night. We have
used this kennel for several years (even before Corley, when we had other
dogs) and it is well worth the trip down the mountain to have the peace of
mind that our dog is taken care of properly.
Just thought you might like to know what a treasure our Corley is.
Take care,
Elizabeth Cox and Corley.
