Mom came into the rescue with 12 puppies who
were only a day old. About 9 days later, Mom stopped nursing and
Foster Mom had to step in and take over. For over 3 weeks, Victoria,
family and friends bottle fed 12 puppies. They all survived. That in
and of itself is a miracle. How Victoria ever survived is still a
miracle to us today as she was the one person who bottle fed every
single time. Sometimes she had help but at 3am she was up by herself
taking care of them.
Now, the pups have all gone to their homes and Alexia is from that
litter that are alive because of the dedication of one woman.

Hi
Sorry about the delay. Cooper is doing great and fitting in very well
with our other pack members. We had our vet check him out and he was
very impressed with your devotion and he raved about Cooper’s
personality. Cooper is a great traveler and very good on a leash but
he loves to nibble on hands and toes. We were trying to sent pictures
but had trouble with our computer. Will try again tonight.
Thanks for our new little friend.

Dear Victoria,
Cooper is doing awesome- He is a great friend to Sierra (our 10 year
old beagle), and they play together non stop. Cooper can be a really
slow eater which drives Sierra nuts cause she’ll try at get his food.
Any suggestions on how to get him to eat a bit quicker? We are feeding
him the NutroMax dry for large breed puppies.
We run him with the bike daily a couple of miles, and he gets to the
Irvine dogpark 3-4- days a week. He loves to play with all breeds and
sizes of dogs there. He also loves the water at the river!
He made it thru Obedience class- and even received a 2nd place trophy-
Offleash class is next. He weighs in at about 70 pounds and we think
he must have some Husky in him as his tail really curls up like other
Husky’s we see at the dog park.
If Cooper has any family in the neighborhood let us know and we can
meet them at the dogpark.
Thank you for taking such good care of him early on!
Rob and Wendy

Cooper was one of Abie's pups.
