Cherrie...

I just wanted to send an email update on "Sassy" now known as "Cherrie". We adopted her only 2 weeks ago, and she fits in so well with our dog family. Cherrie now has a brother, Oscar, and a big sister, Allie, and of course a new "mom and dad". Cherrie was so shy for the first few days and followed me around constantly, and by the end of the week, you would have thought that she has lived here all her life! Cherrie loves to spend her day playing with Oscar and Allie; they all try to herd each other...she also likes to eat some of the avocados that fall from our ancient tree (It will help with her coat)...she likes to chat with the neighboring dogs and also watches the chickens next door. At night, she sleeps right next to us in bed. We are just waiting for it to cool off and then hiking season will begin! Well, I guess you can say that she is in for a long life of relaxation and happiness. Thank you for caring for her before we found her...all animals need a second chance...Thank you!!!
