Buster...
Hi Zara's List!
Happy New Year!!! Buster is doing GREAT!!! All three dogs get along
just fine. Our shepard mix and Buster got along perfectly from the
beginning. He wasn't too sure about our 80 lb. lab at first, but she
wins over everyone's hearts eventually. I think he was worried about
being stepped on by her, but she is SO gentle, he trusts her completely
now.
Buster is more than spoiled here. He LOVES those tennis balls! We've trained him to "get the precious" because he acts like Gullom and the ring from Lord of the Rings. So now his tennis balls are "precious". He likes to take nap time on my daughters bed. She loves it! I think she sees herself as his babysitter. At bedtime he sleeps in my bed with me. He likes to burrow all the way to the foot of the bed, but he has to be under all the covers before he's happy. He stays there all night long. He gets up with the kids and goes outside to do his "thang". I take him with me almost everywhere we go. He has a doggie "purse" I got from Petco that he's learning to go in, but mostly it's free-range trips. I posted a picture of he and I on my website: As you can see, he's put on a little weight, which is a good thing. Thank you so much for rescuing him!!! I don't understand how cute and well trained dogs end up in the slammer... I could NEVER give him up!!! Stay dry, if you can... Jennifer |
