Angel...

Angel seems to just blossom daily. Her first day here she was very withdrawn and frightened but by day 2 she was velcroed to me and by day 3 (with the help of boiled chicken bits) she started to bond with Wes and when I got home today (day 4) she was snuggled up next to him in the big chair "watching" the History Channel. So far, I'm the only one able to get her to go outside to do her business but she hasn't had any accidents until today when I was gone for several hours and thought she would go for Wes. I'm confident that situation will work itself out with time and meanwhile, she is the light of our lives. She sleeps on my pillow all night, gives us both all the kisses any two people could want and tries desperately to sound "fierce" when the doorbell rings. Marilyn can probably confirm that she has the shrillest bark ever and sounds like a little dog no matter how hard she tries to sound big! We just adore her and can't thank you enough for allowing us to adopt her. I'm sure the three of us will be a great team and I will keep you up to date on our wanderings and adventures. Could you please thank Marilyn for us and let her know how much we appreciate her help in making Angel a part of our family. She did a great job with her!!
