Hi Tera,

Thanks for your note - everything is going well here. I named her "Suzi" and she seems to respond well to that name. My vet has checked her over and says she is doing well. The vet did a heartworm check, which was negative. My vet recommends topical medication for heartworm, which I bought and will apply after a bath. I wasn't sure if and when she was treated for fleas, so thought I would wait another week or so, because the heartworm med. also includes flea treatment.

The first few days, Suzi was a little shy, but now she thinks she owns the place! She really enjoys my big yard, but likes to be near me. She is very playful, and especially likes balls - small ones that squeak. She has torn the stuffing out of several small toys!

I am very pleased with her, and I think you are doing a great service for God's favorite animals.

She is chewing on a toy dog. She has a couple of balls she prefers. She seems to be very happy, and I am very pleased with her. Thanks again.
