Hi Zara's List.

Samantha is very energetic, intelligent, and loving. She really loves her Ted. So much so that she forgets about everything, including eating, when he is around. He, of course, is the same with her.

She picks up from him. She has learned to use the doggy door and most of the time will go outside when she needs to. But, gets side tracked if she is busy playing with Ted. She loves to go for walks and is learning how to stay at a pace with Ted. She is a bit skid dish when it comes to strangers (something we are working on) and leans into Ted for protection.

Sunday I took them both for a run to the high school nearby in a large area of grass in the center of the school. She chased after Ted at first, but kept an eye on me most of the time she ventured out. She did not go far from me. She has learned the command "Samantha, come". She responds immediately. Of course her favorite treat is at the end of her run to me. We have been working on that command for a while. I want to make sure she is very good at that one in particular. She knows how to sit, stay, come and night, night. She is starting to go in her crate on command and finally sleeps through the night. I thought I had a newborn baby at first...well, I guess I did.
