Whoo Hoo !!! Let me tell you about my new home and family !!!

April 26, 2008
Butterfly is doing well. She is gaining weight, Her hair is growing in. She went to the vet and they gave her a clean bill of health. She is miss bossy. It is so funny to watch her play with Peanut and Daisy because she thinks she is much bigger than she really is. She carries toys around that are twice her size and snags toys out of Peanut and Daisy's mouth. She is really fitting right in.

We decided to give her a short nickname so we call her Lilly. Yes she is a lap dog. She just makes herself comfortable in whoever's lap is sitting down. She seems to fit in perfect. Here are a few pictures sorry they are so big I haven't reloaded all my software and don't know how to make them smaller without photoshop.
Thank you for letting Butterfly join our family.
I just wanted to give you an update on Butterfly now nicknamed Lilly. (silly Lilly sometimes)
She is doing wonderful. She fits right in. She gets along well with Daisy and Peanut. Daisy and Lilly play together a lot. It is funny to watch all 3 of them chasing after one toy. No matter how many toys we have they all want the same one. Lilly just thinks she is as big as Peanut and Daisy and makes them move out of her way so she can get the toy. She is a little bossy thing when it comes to the toys in the house. I put them away and she will move them all back out to her area. If one of the other dogs takes them she goes after them to bring it back. She is never mean about it but she does mean business.
When I feed them in the morning they each get their own plate and Lilly eats as fast as she can so she can try to get a share of Daisy or Peanut’s food.
I don’t know if you can tell in the picture but she has so much hair now. She doesn’t have any more bald spots and it has grown so much. She has gained weight and is a very happy puppy. We just love her and hope she is happy with her new home.
She has learned to use the doggy door which was so funny at first. She would put her head in and just stand there like now what. She is now an old hand at the doggy door.
I am so glad she is now a member of our family. Thank you for letting us adopt her and I hope she is glad to be with all of us.

Tera,
I thought you would like an update on Lilly (AKA Butterfly). She is doing great. She is fitting right in. She gets along well with Peanut and Daisy. She runs after Daisy like she is 10 pounds and not 5. She has gained weight and I think most of it is all the hair she has growing in.
She is a lovey. She thinks nothing of jumping into your lap and taking a nap right there. Of course she thinks she is much bigger than she is and we have to remind her that she is small. I lost her the other day and I was in a panic. Silly girl had followed me into the laundry room and was still in there when I left and closed the door. We could hear her barking but had no idea where she was. So now I have to remember to check the laundry room when I leave it.
I do have to tell you about her toy “habit”. She takes all the toys upstairs and puts them near her bed. I bring them all downstairs and put them in the toy basket. I look and the toy basket is empty again. She has taken them all back upstairs by her bed. If Daisy or Peanut get a toy she is after them because they are hers. They just let her have them. Not sure how the smallest member of the family gets all the toys but she does.
Thank you for letting her join our family. I have attached a picture. She likes to sleep on the back of the sofa. She thinks she is a cat.
Sorry that it is big again. One of these days I am going to reload the software to make it smaller.
