Lady and the Tramp

It has taken a bit of time & trials, but my pair of munchins finally (or should I say currently?) have names.

I had started out wanting two playful pups to name Calvin & Hobbes – Calvin fairly squared away & then ‘interesting’ Hobbes.

Have been out to Corona several times and spent months scoping Zara’s List. Scored early this year!
First to come home was the perfect Hobbes what a scruff of maniacal energy! A face to love from the start.

The two are now best buddies, crate mates & wrestle partners. Too much fun!

However, the names of ‘Calvin & Hobbes’ went out the window. Now what? So many names tried for anywhere from 15 seconds to 24 hours:

Duke & Duchess, Prince & Princess, Jack & Jill, George & Gracie; Homer & Marge; Mavis & Percy: Samson & Delilah; etc & etc….

They registered at the vet as Bonnie & Clyde (Bonnie Lass & Clyde Cadiddlehopper).
But in the end they really only fit on perfect couple:

We had to wait a week for “Calvin’s” operation - during that time Hobbes settled in as ruler of the roost.
Finally that Tuesday night I drove to Corona to get ‘Calvin.’ Yikes! Out of the crate comes this petite beauty of a young lady. Goodbye ‘Calvin’ !!!

So now what - It took just that little bit of Tuesday evening for she-pup to settle in; by Wed morning she had Hobbes squared away on partnership.
