Whoo Hoo !!!  Let me tell you about my new home and family !!!

Danny AKA Spinner

Hi -

Spinner spent his first night in his new home and is settling in nicely.
We've renamed him Danny and he is very responsive to that. He is really a bright little dog. He slept on my bed and did really well. Picked out a stuffed cat from the toy box, and a bone and cuddled up with those. He is really a love and we made a good choice - thank you!

I think there is a bit of bulldog in him as well as the terrier.

Fred our schnauzer is very interested in him, but being very protective - dominance games. But Danny is pretty smart and just ignores Fred. This will go away in a couple of days - I've seen it before.

Today we are spending the day getting used to the house. Monday we will be off to the vets for a check up and introduction, and to get our license and tags. Then we will start walking up the hill.

Really a sweet little guy and we are so happy to give him a good home.

Hi Tera -

Danny aka Spinner is the perfect dog for us! He and our other dog, a miniature schnauzer name Fred, have become best buddies and love to play together – they wrestle and chase each other. The cat is okay with it also, although she is now chased around by 2 dogs instead of just one!

Danny got his license yesterday and is off to the vets today for the rest of his shots and a new doggie checkup – the cat has to have her shots also, and then Fred will come along with us because otherwise he would be alone at home.

We have discovered that Danny is a grass dog for doing his business, so we have added a patch of grass in the backyard just for him. We have doggie doors on the atrium and back yard door and he is learning to come and go as he needs to.

We take both dogs on a long walk every morning, which they love as both are terriers and love to sniff. Danny also has a new bright red leather collar with his nametag and license tags and a matching leash, so he just loves to strut his stuff when he’s out on a walk.

On Sunday, Danny was allowed to be loose in the house with Fred while we were out and the 2 of the behaved perfectly, which is great because Fred will “rearrange”’ small things if he is left alone.

All in all the perfect little guy – we love him and he has fit into our household “pack” very well. Thanks for a great little guy!
