Bear aka Blueberry

Hey Jeff,

I am attaching some pictures of "Bear" from around the middle of January (took me a while to get them off of my camera). We tried naming him "blue" and then it switched to "bear" b/c it fit his personality better.

He is getting big - he is way bigger than the beagle in the pictures now although he was little smaller when the pictures were taken.

He is a montster . . . he chews up everything!!!!! He was easy to housebreak though - only took a couple of days. However, we were unsuccessful with the crate training and he now sleeps in our bed - but he is a good bed mate and doesn't hog too much. When he lays accross the bed and streches out he is almost as long as the bed is wide!

I will keep taking pictures and send more as we get them.

Bear (formerly Blueberry) is doing great. He is growing fast and he has a deep bark and is becoming a great watch dog. He loves all people and just wants to be around them all of them time. He goes to visit my mom sometimes and he loves her beagle (although he is 6 years old and he get tired of the puppy way before the puppy gets tired of him).

We have not figured out if he is a water dog yet - he is fascinated by the bathtub and shower but it hasn't been warm enough to take him in the pool yet.

He loves wires (especially those connected to the sprinkler systems at our house and my mom's house) he also enjoys the foam wrap around the copper wires on the air conditioners (we have sprayed with animal pepper spray and all of the other animal deterrents and he likes chewing them even more then - we are trying cayan pepper next).

He has lost all of his baby teeth (that was a freaky experience when one of his teeth fell out while we were playing with him and then the rest scattered in the house and yard). He has had his first grooming experience (which helped the shedding some - well it got rid of the already shedded hair that was hanging out on him). He is a great couch and bed buddy and just an all around lover!!!!

We are thoroughly happy with Bear and can't wait to hear and see from everyone else.
