Yogurt came in big as a whale to the shelter, well, big side ways that is... It was clear her days with a big belly and being by herself were nearing an end...On January 1, 2007 she whelped 3 little ones. She's approximately 8lbs. Her pups are tiny and as time goes on we'll know more about who they are...

Yogurt and her Granola's:
The Granola's are now almost a month old. They're just learning to walk and use their little legs. They love to play with each other. They're just beginning to develop personalities and this is the beginning of the real adventure with them. Exciting time! Sadly we did lose the male in the litter early on. He just wasn't ever thriving like his siblings and eventually nature took its course. Even knowing you've done all you can doesn't make it easier because you love each little life and you hope for that miracle. Sometimes it happens and other times it doesn't... It's been tough on Momma Yogurt and Foster Mom as well.

Just learning how to play and use those little legs!
Yogurts girls. wandering when picture time will be over!!!
Nap time........ all that playing and picture taking is exhausting work!

Our puppies do not go to adoptions. We take applications on line and then set up an appointment when there is an approved application.
Introducing Granola #1. She is the head strong one of the Granolas. She is full of personality and spunk. Granola #1 needs an experienced home that wants a feisty little girl who likes to be large and in charge at a whole 2lbs. Her mom, Yogurt, is about 6-7lbs. and we expect these pups to be in the same size range.
Granola #1 needs a home that likes a dog who loves to give kisses and yet has a wild and crazy side as well. If she's off your lap, she's into some kind of mischief. Granola #1 will need a home that is willing to continue training and socialization with our little girl. She has the potential to be snotty as she gets older if she's not in a home that isn't experienced and will let her get away with anything.

Introducing Granola #2: She is the lover girl of the litter. She is the one who will cuddle up in your arms for hours or gladly accompany you in your finest Juicy bag as you cart her around town. She is 9 weeks old and a whopping 2lbs. Her mom, Yogurt, is about 6-7lbs. and we expect these pups to be in the same size range.
Granola #2 is the peacemaker in the litter. She just thinks everyone should get along. She won't cause a ruccus or play too rough or entice others into trouble. She wants to be on your lap watching your favorite show as you rub her belly and toes. She's a baby through and through and looking for someone who wants to treat her like a little Princess
Both Granola's have been raised in a home with dogs and cats.
