See is a Miniature Pincher/Chi mix. See's puppies were born on July 31st. There are 5 girls and 1 little boy. They look like mom now. Dad is unknown as he was here today gone tomorrow. Mom and puppies were on the euthanasia list at the shelter with a shelter bursting at the seems with dogs. However, in the 11th hour, we took them and they are getting lots of love now in a fabulous foster home. Mom is a great mother, even with what she has been through. Can you imagine having puppies in a noisy, scary shelter?

This is the litter that almost wasn't and if it weren't for a faithful foster stepping in, they wouldn't be here today. Momma See's is believed to be a Mini Pin-Chihuahua mix. She is approximately 14lbs and we expect the pups to be in her range if not smaller. Who knows who Dad was as he wasn't around taking care of pups when we met Mom at the shelter. It would appear from the looks of several of them that perhaps Dad had some Terrier-Shih Tzu maybe in there. It's all a guess! The pups are 7 weeks old (as of Sept. 23) and were raised in a foster home with lots of love and attention. They have been exposed to other dogs and would do fine with cats. We prefer not to place our small breed pups with children under the age of 7.
This litter will not go to adoptions. We will take applications on line and then set up a meet and greet with potential parents. If you are interested, please check our Pet List and click on their picture to read their full biography and follow directions at the end for pursuing an adoption.

Toffee
Toffee has the scruffy look down pat. She is a lover girl who will give kisses and snuggle. She is playful and energetic like any good pup.
Truffles
Truffles was the hardest to photograph and her pictures don't do her justice but what do you do when a dog is a wiggle worm and her tail keeps thumping up and down and all she wants to do is give the photographer kisses? Well, you end up with a bunch of pictures with smudges from the lense being wet! This little girl loves to play and if you have someone in the house that needs a companion to play with, then look no further. If you like to be given kisses, then she is the girl for you.
Carmel
Caramel is the lone boy in the litter. Yep, 5 sisters and what's a guy to do? The girls just loved picking on him. This little guy is more on the quieter side. He's smooth coated so if the wire haired doesn't work for you, well, we have all choices in this litter. Caramel is a sweetheart and will melt you with his chocolate colored eyes.
Bordeaux
Bordeaux is also smooth coated and looks most like Mom. She is the quietest out of the girls. Well, as quiet as pups can be, you know? She'd do great in a family that wants the more mellow one and not the leader of the pack.
Peanut
Peanut is the smallest in the litter. Don't call her a runt though. She is the first to jet out of the pack to run to foster mom or dad to be picked up. Peanut likes to venture from the group and find buried treasures in the house. She doesn't mind leaving the confines of the pack to explore.
Nouget
Nouget is the Christopher Columbus of the group. She is Ms. Explorer and ready to lead the expedition. She was the first out of the pen, first to run down the hallway and greet the other dogs in the house. She is fearless and just wants to explore everything. She is definitely the leader in this group. She has the smooth coat and has the wonderful personality that says, "Let's Go! C'mon I'm ready to see the world!"
