Pizza and the Toppings:

A shelter called Golden Retriever rescue about a dog who needed to be rescued. They arrived only to discover that the dog was pregnant and due any day. A call was made and Pizza was delivered to a Zara's List foster home and together Zara's List and GRCLA have taken on the task of saving these dogs together.

Pizza whelped her 7 pups on 6/28/07 in a foster home that is a first time whelping foster home. Kids are home for the summer and are taking on the task of supervising Pizza and Toppings. They get to be a part of the rescue process, saving a Mom and pups, raising them for the first 2 months of their life, cleaning up after them, socializing them and then placing them in appropriate homes. The family gets to be a part of the miracle of birth without contributing to the overwhelming pet population.

We have no idea who Dad is and we generally don't have any idea what breed the pups may be until they are 5-6 weeks old. We will post this litter at 6 weeks on our Pet List and at that time we will accept applications. Sorry, we don't accept applications nor inquires prior to the litter being listed. We appreciate the enthusiasm over our Nursery pets but please wait until they are listed and we have detailed information about what type of home we are looking for our puppies. We expect this litter to be listed in Mid August.

They're super puppies. They're not only walking but eating out of Mom's bowl, cleaning themselves and playing like crazy...and 3 weeks old. Somebody forgot to tell these puppies they aren't suppose to be doing all of that so soon. Crazy little Super Puppies. Still hard to tell who Dad might have been but they're certainly looking Golden Retriever right now. Time will tell...
