Mom was pregnant at the shelter. She was cute as could be and the minute you would come in her cage, she'd flip on her back with her belly up in the air. We liked to joke she was saying, "Scratch my belly! Scratch my belly!" but in reality she was probably responding in fear and wanting us to stay away. We gave her space and soon she'd crawl up to us almost commando style. We'd give her treats which she would eagerly eat and then soon she'd let us pet her. Now she really does flip over on her back with her legs wiggling in the air and cries, "Scratch my belly!" She's a beautiful little girl with so much love to offer.

We took her home and 2 days later on Dec. 23rd she had puppies! We have 3 girls and 2 boys. It's pretty obvious Momma likes Boston Terriers b/c the cute little puppies are not only black/white but red/white with beautiful Boston markings. We'll see whether they turn out with feisty little 'tudes and round little faces and if they do, well, Daddy really was a Boston!
