Heavenly is a spaniel mix who came to the foster's home traumatized from having puppies in the shelter. The puppies were 2 weeks at the time. Mom and puppies were covered in feces, ticks and fleas. Mom had to be carried outside to go to the bathroom because she was so afraid. Now she joins the family and is very friendly. They have all been cleaned up and are now thriving. There are 3 males and 1 female. Mom weighs about 32 pounds and is a medium sized dog. She is very gentle and loving. Dad is unknown. He didn't stay around long. The puppies are now 4 weeks old and are becoming adventurous. They love to give puppy kisses.

She was brought in with a new born litter and her sibling who also had a litter. It was a classic example of animals not being altered and having puppies that no one wanted and they all ended up at the shelter. After spending time with her we realized she's a bit of heaven on earth.

Her little pups are now 5 weeks old and will be posted the last week of April. They will go to their new homes the second week of May but we will take applications once they are posted. Mom must have met some interesting males along her journey as all her puppies look so different and though they have her "heavenly" personality they don't look too much like her! They are definitely little Angels and they'll be looking for a slice of heaven in their new home.
