Hazel and the Nuts

Hazel came to this rescue ready to give birth and that is what she did after only 3 days of being in foster care. Hazel was abandoned in her home with two other cats when her family picked up and moved. On April 26th, Hazel gave birth to four beautiful babies (Pecan, Peanut, Almond and Macadamia). When picking up Hazel the foster was told that this cat has had several litters in the past and was a really bad mom. This is contrary to what the foster has seen. Mom has taken excellent care of her babies, cleaning them, feeding them and keeping them warm. She has let her foster mom and kids pet her and admire her babies up close and personal with a purr and meow. Hazel is an awesome mom and her foster mom couldn’t be more proud. We welcome Hazel and the Nuts to the Zara’s List Family.

Hazel and the Nuts Update:

Hazel and the Nuts are in a great foster home where they are receiving the best care. Hazel is able to relax while the family plays with her babies. She was given a very comfortable place to raise her babies and she has settled in nicely. Babies are now 4 weeks old and growing quickly. Be sure to keep an eye out on our available for adoption list in a few weeks. These babies will be available for adoption at 6 weeks and ready to go to their new homes when 8 weeks, 2 lbs. and spayed/neutered.
