Sweet Summer-

We prayed and prayed for the perfect dog to come into our lives. We sold candy, we raised money, we checked the web site every day. Suddenly, there you were, grinning at us from under a mop of orange and white hair. We all knew you were the dog for us.

We brought you home and you were scared, thin, and shy. After just 10 months, you became a huge part of our family. You put up with a 4-year old kissing your head, and an 11-year old crying into your fur. You let us dress you up, teach you tricks, and feed you your favorite foods. The one thing we could never teach you was to stop wanting to run free. Now, you can run free forever, and play in the sprinklers to your heart's content.

You came to us abused and left us happy. We will miss you. WE can't wait for you to jump on us and kiss us again. Until then. . .
