He was hit by a car and left for dead on the side of the road. We were contacted by the shelter and asked to take him in. He couldn't walk at the time we picked him up and X-rays revealed he had a broken pelvis. After several months, many vet visits and surgeries later he was ready to find his forever home. Until he had a seizure. The challenges began anew but with a fabulous foster family ready and wiling to tackle the newest challenges our little boy was in good hands.

Months later we met Chris and family. She understood the necessity of medication and the implications of seizures and most of all, she was in love with Baker. It was a match made in heaven. Over the past several years we've been privileged to get updates as Baker moved out of state with his family and had his first experience with snow. He was the smallest of the pack he joined but he was the leader. As the pictures and emails came in over the years we were thrilled to see the love this family had for him.

On March 31st, 2008 with a heavy heart and many tears we were contacted and told that Baker had gone to the Rainbow Bridge. No amount of words will ever express the gratefulness we have for the Tuthill's choosing our boy and choosing to love him and offer him a wonderful home. Every dog should be so lucky...
