Sometimes you just have to have faith that the will to live is there. Sometimes you have to have faith that there will be the money to save the animal you take in. Sometimes rescue is all about Faith.

Faith is a 3-5 year old Shih Tzu who had a mammory tumor removed from her chest and had an ulcerated eye which has been surgically repaired. She was doomed. Who, but a rescue, would take her in and with the uncertainty of cancer or not, why would even they? No one who has met our Faith would ever ask that question. She is the sweetest little girl you’d ever meet! We took a leap of faith and so did she. She was in bad shape when she came in and now she's recuperating and hopefully cancer free and in the near future will be ready to move onto her new home. We have faith that she is expected to live a long full life.

Faith will need a few more weeks before her stitches will be removed from her eye and hopefully she’ll be able to see again. She will also need a few more tests to be done to make sure her tumor wasn’t cancerous. But, all signs are leaning in her favor so far!

Every now and then we close our eyes and have faith......
