He constantly shook his head when he came in. It's the clearest sign that someone has an ear infection. Initial treatments were started and then our little boy had a seizure. Pandemonium broke out because that means a host of other problems, possibly.
So a bloodwork panel was preformed and nothing unusual arose.
The ears were not clearing up so surgery was scheduled and we waited....Seizures can be brought on by a host of things. Were we dealing with epilepsy? Chronic ear infections that had escalated to causing a seizure? Who knows. You wait and wait and wait. You wait for the next seizure. If it comes then you begin medicine. If it doesn't then you wait. After 3 months we are still waiting...
Soy's ears are healing and he's back to his normal self. Well, as normal as this little spazz gets because he's a ball of energy. He loves to play, runs circles (literally) around the other dogs and is an "in your face" little dude. He loves attention and just wants to be with you. We haven't seen another seizure yet. We're monitoring closely. Meanwhile our little dude is waiting for his forever home.
