We took in a senior Maltese who was blind and deaf and about 4lbs. Most of our traditional foster homes were not the appropriate place for this little girl.

Laurie is a one in a million foster and she's ours! We love her because it never phases her what we throw her way. Whether it's a dog in congestive heart failure or a dog who has another special needs, Laurie is more than willing to lend a hand.

Every rescue needs a Laurie and we're grateful to have her as part of our group!
