Their application came in for our beloved Oscar. They were a wonderful home but there was a bit of sorrow in my heart that Oscar would be leaving. We had bottle fed Felix and Oscar and Felix had gone on his way and now it was Oscar's time...So, we adopted to Cindy and Nikita and we were thrilled to get a wonderful, lifetime home for this very special boy. Little did we know that would be the beginning of a great partnership. A little over a year later we received an email asking if we needed fosters. Oh boy did we and how. So the journey began and they've been on board with us for several years now.

Cindy and Nikita foster our little ones that need more one on one attention. From the ones who are ill socialized to the ones who are starving to death and need to be bribed to eat, they are right there to help out. They have a wonderfully loving home and hearts and are the first to volunteer to take the ones that everyone else passes up on or the ones that are really time consuming.

Take a look at our ICU Ward and unmistakably some of those little faces have been in their home....Oh and Oscar? He's Corky now but even now when he sees his former foster mom, he comes bounding up to give her a hug and kiss. Some bonds are never broken...
